Loneliness

At first

I thought

life would proceed without me,

That I would do them all a favour.

I thought

Noone would miss me.

I felt

Alone.

I believed,

I was worth nothing.

That people would laugh,

when my splattered insides,

would be carving the driving lane

When my face

Would paint the front of a train.

I thought, of slitting my wrist

of blowing my brains out,

leaving a mess behind.

Noone would care.

Noone would bother.

So I thought.

I was right.
